Wohlgefuhl empfanden,
3.) 9 Personen unverhohlen belustigt waren.
KOMA gefallen
People who have been comatose come back with
stories of how their souls flew happily through a bright tunnel, toward
the shining light. Many people tend to see this phenomenon as the forecourt
of paradise. For Kostroma, there are three stressful situations in which
the human being reaches the borderline between life and death.
These are 1. "pain-stress", 2. "love-stress" and 3.
"money-stress".
To counter this problem, three "anti-stress sleeping coffins"
were placed into the darkened exhibition space. According to the original
idea of the project, each "patient" was supposed to lie down in
these coffins and to then take pictures of themselves with a camera once
they had reached a state of peace and reconciliation or, to put it differently,
a COMA. More than 1,000 people took part in this action in the bunker beneath
the Alexanderplatz. Of 100 participants
1.) 38 crossed their arms and imagined that they were dead,
2.) 53 were afraid to close their eyes but experienced a feeling of bliss
3.) 9 were openly amused.
Important: During this introspective action, no-one died and no-one fell
into a COMA.
