Christian de Lutz ist ein aus New York stammender, in Berlin lebender Medienkunstler und Fotograf. Viele seiner Arbeiten basieren auf Fotografien, die er in den 90er Jahren in Osteuropa als Fotojournalist aufgenommen hat. Diese Bilder werden am Computer bearbeitet und untersuchen die Art, in der wir aus verschiedenen Bildmedien Information gewinnen. Il Paradiso: Als ortspezifische Multimediainstallation zeichnet "Die Flucht aus/nach Tuzla [2003]" zwei Ereignisse nach, die wahrend des Bosnien-Krieges stattfanden: Die Flucht einer jungen Frau aus dem Land 1992 und den Fall von Srebrenica 1995.

Christian de Lutz is a New York born, Berlin based new media artist and photographer. Many of his works find their origin in photographs he took in Eastern Europe while working as a photojournalist during the 1990s. These images are then reworked on a computer, and often refer to the way we get information from various visual media. Il Paradiso: The Flight from / to Tuzla [2003], a site specific multimedia installation, traces two events that took place during the Bosnian War: the flight of a young woman out of the country in 1992 and the Fall of Srebrenica in 1995.
