In der Kunst schaffen wir eine Utopie, die uns Trostliches verspricht, die die Verletzung der Welt aufnimmt und umwandelt. Die Kunst bietet uns die Moglichkeit, alle unsere Traume und Utopien darzustellen. Diese Traume, denen wir nachts und manchmal auch am Tage begegnen, erzahlen uns vieles uber ein besseres Handeln. Ich denke an ein bewusst gestaltetes und kreatives Leben, das jeder einzelne Mensch moglichst schopferisch gestalten sollte. Ich meine, ein jeder Mensch hat die Aufgabe zuzugreifen, und aus seinen Traumen heraus aktiv zu handeln.

In art we create a utopia that promises us comfort, that takes up the injuries inflicted by the world and turns them around. In art we have the possibility to depict all our dreams and utopias. For the dreams we encounter at night and also sometimes by day tell us much about how to conduct ourselves. I am thinking of a consciously designed creative life that every single one of us should make as inventive as possible.
